EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE includes the 14 elected & appointed Officers of the Post & the 5 Post Trustees. It usually meets on the third Thursday of the Month, at 7:00 PM. More information can be found on the (POST OFFICERS).
AMERICANISM COMMITTEE Shall be charged with aid and service to children of veterans, cooperating with other established agencies in the community; laboring for the betterment of child conditions and in coordinating services and agencies in the community for the fore-going purposes. To act as intermediary for the needy child of a veteran in fulfillment of the legion’s Pledge that “no child of a war veteran shall be in need of the necessities of life” and “a square deal for every child.”
CEREMONIALS COMMITTEE includes the Honor Guard Commander, Assistant Honor Guard Commander, all members of the Honor Guard, & the Chairman of the Membership Committee. (More information can be found on the (Gold_Star.jpg HONOR GUARD) & the (MEMORIALS).
FINANCE COMMITTEE includes the Post Commander, 1st Vice Commander, 2nd Vice Commander, Post Finance Officer, & (1) Trustee. It meets at least once each month on the 1st Monday of the month, at 6:30 PM, just before the Post Executive Committee Meeting. The President & Treasury of the Auxiliary, Director and Treasury of the ALR are encouraged to attend this committee meeting.
GRAVES REGISTRATION & MEMORIAL COMMITTEE includes the Post Service Officer, Post Historian, Honor Guard Commander, & The Post Public Relations & Communications Officer. More information can be found on the (MEMORIALS).
HOUSE & ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE includes the Committee Chairman, Auxiliary counterpart, ALR counterpart, (1) Trustee, the Host or Hostess of the next “Post Function”, & members of the Committee. It meets at least once each month on the 1st Monday of the month, at 6:00 PM, just before the Post Executive Committee Meeting.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE includes the Committee Chairman, Auxiliary counterpart, ALR counterpart, & members of the Committee.
PUBLIC RELATIONS & COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE includes the Post Public Relations & Communications Officer, & ALL other Post Officers, Auxiliary Officers, ALR Officers, & Post Trustees. It meets simultaneously with the Post Executive Committee.
JUNIOR SHOOTING PROGRAM includes the Committee Chairman. This program is the only one of it’s kind in the State of Tennessee. Additional information will follow completion of establishment of this program.
